At Veritas Collegiate Academy, we offer a comprehensive academic program that includes a wide range of subjects designed to provide a well-rounded education. Our curriculum is based on the classical Christian education philosophy, incorporating the Trivium - grammar, logic, and rhetoric stages - to ensure students receive a holistic learning experience.

Mr. Keating has worked at the Chesapeake campus for 15 years. He first served as Mr Elgut's deputy and now he serves as part of the team expanding Veritas around the world. He is committed to seeing the young people at Veritas succeed in all their endeavours.

Mrs. Yoakum

Mrs. Bev Yoakum holds an M.S. Ed. in Childhood Education Administration. With decades of experience owning and leading private schools and early childhood centers, she is a dedicated educator and mentor. Mrs. Yoakum is a recipient of the "True Hero" award for her contributions in education and studied in Reggio Emilia, Italy with the renowned educators of the Reggio Emilia Approach. She considers serving as Vice-Principal for Veritas a privilege.

Mr. Miles

Athletic Director

Mr Miles has been working in coaching and athletics since graduating. He runs a successful AAU basketball team outside of school. His vision is to compete on the national level. Currently our strongest programs are basketball, swimming, volleyball and tennis. However, we do run a very extensive offering including: sailing, skeet shooting, wrestling, cross country, pentathlon and fencing.

Ms. Bonnie Ostrander serves as Office Manager at Veritas Collegiate Academy, bringing over 35 years of experience in Christian education. Her dedication and passion for nurturing young minds are evident in her daily interactions with students. Committed to fostering a supportive and inspiring learning environment, she ensures that every student feels valued, encouraged, and guided in their educational journey.
